Miami’s beaches are a great way to unwind after a flight, soaking up the pastel buildings and turquoise waters. Enjoy your free day. Miami Beach, FL

Day 2. Warm sea breezes, swaying green palm trees, and the gentle sound of ocean waves lapping the sandy shore provide the perfect backdrop for pastel-colored Art Deco buildings, making Miami South Beach a stunning and often intoxicatingly beautiful place. Seasoned travelers call it the American Riviera, but there’s more to this city than fine white sand and turquoise waters. The world-famous South Beach is home to fabulous shops and restaurants, fashion and TV and movie shoots. Be sure to walk along Ocean Drive and enjoy world cuisine. Shop at the Lincoln Road Mall and enjoy a wide range of specialty stores. At night, South Beach really gets “decadent” with dozens of nightclubs catering to adventurous and laid-back clientele alike. Consider visiting the Bayside Market for unique shopping and outdoor activities. Several types of boat tours also depart from Bayside Market, including sightseeing cruises and party boats.

Miami Beach – Key West, FL

Day 3 Plan a trip south today heading to Key West. You will cross the longest segmental bridge in the entire world, the Seven Mile Bridge. There is always something going on in Key West. Along its streets are specialized shops and restaurants. Ride the Conch Tour to see the sights and learn about the history of the island. No visit to Key West is complete without a sunset celebration at Mallory Square. Performers, vendors and artists line up at the water’s edge to say goodbye to daylight.

Key West – Everglades – Marco Island, FL

Day 4. Depart beautiful Key West and start driving down Florida’s natural side, the Everglades. It is often called the “River of Grass” because of the slow flow of water and the abundance of saws. The Everglades is home to unique plants and incredible wildlife, including the famous alligator. Visit Shark Valley and take an airboat ride to discover this splendor firsthand. Continue to Marco Island on the Gulf Coast for an overnight stay.

Marco Island – Sarasota – St. Petersburg Beach FL

Day 5. Depart from Marco Island and begin driving along the West Coast of Florida. Sarasota is home to some of the most beautiful sunsets and sandy beaches on the Gulf Coast. Although it retains the charm of a sleepy beach town, it is also recognized as a cultural hub. This is the perfect time to unwind, soak by the pool or take a dip in the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. In the afternoon, continue your journey to St. Petersburg Beach
